Job Purpose: To assist in providing a learning environment that supports the developmental and educational needs of all children, under the overall direction of the Class Teacher. Period of employment: to cover the Main employee who is goung on Maternity leave in November 2024. Job Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children at Primary school across the curriculum

  • Giving extra help to children with special needs or those for whom English is not their first language

  • Helping to develop programmes of learning activities and adapting appropriate materials

  • Motivating and encouraging pupils

  • Assisting with displays and lesson preparation

  • Attending meetings and reviews

  • Helping with school events, trips and activities

  • Teaching classes on their own

  • Covering planned absences

Requirements:
  • Bachelors/Masters Degree with qualification of English Teacher
  • Work experience at a school not less than 2 years
  • Experienced and interested to work with kids at age of 5yo - 10yo
  • English language level: Advanced (C1)
  • Willingness to develop and improve professional skills and knowledge through ongoing feedback and development

  • Awareness of learning and developmental disorders a plus.

  • Knowledge of First Aid

  • Training in safeguarding and child protection (provided in school)

We offer:
  • Employment date: August, 2024

  • Official employment according to the Russian Labor Law

  • Period of employment: until the Main employee returns back to school from her Maternity leave which expires in the end of November 2024. The main employee may also resign at the end of November 2024.

  • Trial period: 3 months

  • Work hours: Mon - Fri (08-30 - 16-30); Sat and Sun - days off
