Principal Responsibilities:

General purposes:

The position is within Compliance team to cover Compliance functions in order to adhere to the local and international standards and provide sufficient level of expertise to the internal clients on a local level.

Functions:

  • Creation and implementation of pre-trade controls in CRIMS / Avancore FO;
  • Revising the alerts generated in CRIMS / Avancore FO;
  • Reviewing and checking the reports with pre-alerts in CRIMS / Avancore FO;
  • Analysing clients investment declarations in respect of pre-trade controls;
  • Working in collaboration with IT on automatization and enhancement of CRIMS / Avancore FO controls.
  • To implement and monitor pre-trade and post-trade controls of investment declarations and guidelines into internal systems for monitoring;
  • Provide support and advisory services to front, middle and back office divisions;
  • Investigate and handle any actual or potential breaches of relevant rules and regulations;
  • To monitor effectiveness of current processes within the area of responsibility;
  • To monitor changes in Russian legislation within the area of responsibility and implement them into local procedures if required;
  • Participate in new products approval process;
  • Personal account dealing and outside business interest registers maintenance;
  • To coordinate implementation of the monitoring systems.
Key Competencies & Qualifications
  • Higher education,
  • Excellent knowledge of international and Russian legislation on financial markets
  • Practical experience (3 years and more) in internal control/compliance function within a financial institution,
  • Intermediate skills in English,
  • FSFR certificates 1.0 and 5.0
  • Advanced PC user.
