What you will be doing:
  • Review of contractual obligations to ensure the compliance with tax legislation and related Company’s rules;
  • Advice on potential tax aspects of tax legislation, including advising on the preparation of tax returns and tax accounting;
  • Comparative analysis of legal schemes for tax effect;
  • Participation in preparing of transfer pricing documentation;
  • Internal audit of tax returns;
  • Support and assistance during tax audits including the disagreements process with the tax authorities;
  • Contact with external litigators, support in preparation of court claims, explanations and any other required documents;
  • Written and verbal tax advice to various stakeholders of the Company (both within and outside Financial Department) and the Group Tax function regarding tax implementation, evaluation of tax risks and proposals for improvement of current business-processes influencing tax compliance;
  • Participation in different Company’s tax related projects ;
  • Participation in different projects aimed at developing and implementation of new tax accounting methods;
  • Support and active participation in Finance department strategy development and its delivery;
  • Provision of tax education and training and serve as source of tax information for business units and functions through periodic meetings and training sessions.
What you'll need to have:
  • Higher professional education in Finance and Economics;
  • Relevant experience from 3 years (preferably in Tax for one of Big 4 companies);
  • Strong knowledge of Russian tax legislation;
  • Upper- intermediate English;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Excellent computer skills, knowledge of legal databases.
