About the role

We are looking for a full-time regulatory issues and government affairs analyst to join our team in the Moscow office. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career with one professionals in the region, serving a range of household client names in multiple sectors.

Key tasks and responsibilities:
  • Monitoring & analysis of draft legislation, policy initiatives and activity of governmental bodies in Russia and Eurasian Economic Union;
  • Identifying & assessing regulatory and political risks and their impact on the policy environment and client's business in Russia & EAEU;
  • Drafting analytical papers, memos, overviews and reports for particular clients;
  • Advising & assisting the clients in building relationships with stakeholders at the national and EAEU level.
Requirements:
  • Excellent writing skills, particularly the ability to summarise complex subject and trends into succinct summaries;
  • Open source intelligence and analysis skills;
  • In-depth expert understanding of policy-making process in Russia, EAEU;
  • Understanding of political and economic trends in Russia, EAEU;
  • Analytical and consulting skills;
  • Research and critical thinking skills;
  • At least one year of relevant professional experience in one of the following priority industries and cross industrial practices:
    • Antimonopoly and M&A regulation
    • Technical regulation
    • ICT & Tech
    • FMCG
    • Pharma & healthcare
    • Financial services
    • Industrial sector
  • University degree, preferably in Law, Political Science, International Affairs or Public Administration. Foreign diplomas and certificates are an advantage;
  • Written and spoken English proficiency.
