KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Plan and monitor inbound and outgoing deliveries
  • Select carriers and negotiate contracts and rates with transportation and logistics providers in compliance with the company policies and procedures
  • Ensure all import/export deliveries are fully supported with all shipping documents according to the requirements of the international and Russian legislation
  • Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times and service against performance criteria
  • Provide all necessary assistance to the customs brokers to ensure the prompt and efficient process of the customs clearance of goods
  • Preparation and execution of the Logistics budget, control and monitor logistics costs/payments within the budget boundaries
  • Manage selltements with the Customs and logistics providers (carriers, brokers) – collect all documents in compliance with the legislation and accounting rules and procedures, regular verification of mutual settlements and outstanding balances
  • Conduct in-depth logistical analysis and recommend optimal transport modes, product volumes, carriers, routes, frequency and sequencing in order to improve service and drive down the freight costs
  • Create and implement best practice logistics principles, policies and processes across the organisation to improve operational and financial performance
  • Deliver solutions to logistics problems or customer issues while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify inefficiencies and cost optimisation opportunities
  • Ensure the integrity of inventory accuracy and manage stock movements
  • Identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies and ensure inventory and system records are in agreement
  • Keep track of slow moving and obsolete stock
  • Interpret trends and analyse and review data. Provide meaningful logistics data to others in the organisation to aid customer service and cost improvements
  • Ensure IT systems in place are effective, maintained and accurate
  • Ensure metrics, reports, and process documentation is available
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply chain or Business administration (preferred)
  • Minimum 3yrs of experience in logistics management or coordination
  • Advanced 1C user (Supply and Warehouse modules)
  • Proficient verbal & written communication in English or Italian
  • Excellent time management, planning and organization skills
  • Ability to work under stressful work conditions
  • Excellent multitasking ability
  • Strong team player
  • Good negotiation and communication skills
  • Outstanding problem solving and decision making ability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
