Job Purpose: To assist in providing a learning environment that supports the developmental and educational needs of all children, under the overall direction of the Class Teacher. Job Responsibilities:

• Supporting children across the curriculum

• Giving extra help to children with special needs or those for whom English is not their first language

• Helping to develop programmes of learning activities and adapting appropriate materials

• Motivating and encouraging pupils

• Assisting with displays and lesson preparation

• Attending meetings and reviews

• Helping with school events, trips and activities

• Teaching classes on their own

• Covering planned absences

Requirements:

• Bachelors/Masters Degree with qualification of English Teacher
• Work experience at a school not less than 2 years
• English language level: Advanced (C1)
• Willingness to develop and improve professional skills and knowledge through ongoing feedback and development

• Awareness of learning and developmental disorders a plus.

• Knowledge of First Aid

• Training in safeguarding and child protection (provided in school)
