Responsibilities:
  • Development of the mathematical models for embedded wireless applications.
  • Research for state-of-the-art algorithms in Octave/Python.
  • Implementation and verification of the proposed solutions in C/C++ focusing the ARM v7-A/8-A architectures.
General requirements:
  • PhD degree in Computer Sciences / Telecommunications / Applied Mathematics. PhD students can also be considered.
  • Solid mathematical knowledge (discrete mathematics, linear algebra, probability theory, information theory, computational complexity).
  • Knowledge of classical algorithms and data structures.
  • Interest in algorithm design, development, and optimization for ARM architecture.
  • Practical skills in programming (Octave or Python 3, C or C++14).
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Important skills that will be considered as a plus:
  • A good track record of publications in top level journals and conferences in the Computer Science, Signal Processing, Information and Communication Theory societies.
  • Able to produce clean code and good technical presentations.
  • Familiar with gnu toolchain, cmake, Git
