Senior Development Engineer for Nginx

• Responsible for the design, development, optimization and maintenance of Huawei cloud's layer-7 LB service.

• Responsible for the performance improvement and reliability construction of layer-7 LB service transmission to meet the rapid growth of Huawei cloud services.

• Lead to solve technical problems in layer-7 network protocol.

• BSc/MSc/PhD in computer science or other domain-related disciplines.

• 3+ years of Nginx-related design and development experience.

• English speaking.

• Fluent with some programming language(C, python, java, etc).

• Good understanding of basic algorithms and data structures (sorting, lookup, etc.).

• Familiar with the core technical principles and codes of Nginx.

• Familiar with the technical principle of layer-7 load balancer.

• Familiar with the architecture and design of high-performance application server is preferred.

• Familiar with TCP/IP protocol, HTTP/HTTPS protocol, SSL/TLS protocol is preferred.

• Familiar with high-performance network service programming, such as asynchronous communication, event driven, performance optimization, etc., understanding the principle of Linux kernel is preferred.

• Ability to read academic papers, write patent and communicate with external expert. Experience in community development and maintenance is preferred.
