Web Developer

Now we are looking a web developer with UI/UX expertise to accompany our goal of making a platform to support working on content collaboratively. You will design, build and deploy a highly scalable platform that drives services and simulations to facilitate the goal of collaborative content development.

• Work in a team developing web UI and services.

• Designing and developing services and web applications scaling from a workstation to cloud.

• Designing and developing services & backends using SOA and microservice approaches.

• Designing and developing desktop applications utilizing web technologies.

• Communicating with all relevant teams to gather requirements and propose solutions. Participating in group design discussions and general design process.

• 3+ years of experience of working within teams designing and building large backend infrastructures.

• B.S. or higher, or equivalent experience.

• Excellent Python (3.6+, asyncio).

• Excellent JavaScript (TypeScript is a big plus), React, state management libraries like Redux/MobX.

• Strong understanding of CSS and approaches for web components stylization: styled-components, CSS modules, CSS-in-JS libraries.

• Strong unit testing experience (backend and frontend services).

• Strong understanding of modern backend software (databases, webservices, …).

• Understanding of lower layer networking effects when working with services.

• Good written and spoken English required, excellent spoken and written English is a big plus.

• Team player, self-learner and self-starter.

• Electron experience is a plus.

• Experience with cloud services (AWS / Azure / GCP ...) is a plus.
