Project Leader, Infrastructure Services

NVIDIA is looking for a Project Leader to work on internal services that are a core part of a large geo-distributed infrastructure that allows diverse groups within the company to automate and run their workflows at a massive scale. This role requires an experienced professional who will be responsible for gathering requirements from various stakeholders, translating these requirements into a work log, prioritizing features with the development team, coordinating and managing team resources to achieve project goals, communicating development status to stakeholders, presenting product roadmap to users, and overall driving the project to success.

We work in a dynamic environment where multiple projects will be active at once and priorities may shift frequently. We are looking for talented people who aren't afraid of taking responsibility to make constant improvements to the automation infrastructure. With your help, various teams within NVIDIA will be able to utilize this infrastructure to achieve better productivity.

• Providing leadership to the highly expert technical team that is responsible for building and maintaining various services for automation infrastructure, including team recruitment, staff development, and performance management.

• Prioritizing and managing resources within a collaborative team-based environment.

• Defining roadmaps for new services creation and existing services refactoring, creating strategies of their migration to the new architecture, driving projects to success.

• Elevating security, improving performance and reliability of the services.

• Collaborating with all parts of NVIDIA to collect feedback and providing ongoing support, promoting solutions and designs implemented.

• Specialists or Masters degree, or equivalent experience in Computer science or other technical fields.

• 5+ year of experience in building large-scale systems with at least 3+ years of managerial experience.

• Knowledge of web API building principles, distributed messaging systems, relational databases, and non-relational storages, tools to work with all above.

• Strong analytical skills which allow for creative methods to achieve results and solve problems.

• Effective in a matrix-managed organization, excellent communication, and technical presentation skills.

• Good written and spoken English.

• Experience with developing in Golang or Python.

• Experience in building front-end applications.

• An enthusiast with an interest and familiarity with video games.
