SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:
  • Leads Factory and Supply financial planning cycle, forecasting and analysis of actual performance.
  • Manages financial bookclosing and reporting to local management and to Corporate Finance.
  • Ensures production and supply costs controlling, COGS and TPs calculation and analysis.
  • Controls CAPEX spend, ensures projects justification and post investment analysis.
  • Manages Factory P&L, controls Factory conversion costs and material costs variances.
  • Manages relevant Balance Sheet items (inventory, AP, provisions), facilitates Net Working Capital optimization.
  • Ensures the timely delivery of all required data, analysis and information for internal and external reporting.
  • Acts as the key finance business partner to Supply and Factory management teams, provides analysis and all necessary information to management in order to optimise business decisions and deliver the strategy.
  • Establishes appropriate understanding and awareness of financial performance indicators at all levels of the Supply organization.
  • Builds and maintains effective relationships within the company at local and international levels to ensure required support and mutual exchange of essential business information.
  • Ensures data integrity and the right Finance controls, processes and procedures in place to comply to both internal and external requirements.
  • Ensures accuracy of physical inventory, controlling the flow of materials, tools, and other assets, supports internal and external audits. Acts as a custodian of internal control within Factory and Supply functions.
  • Leads, grows, and develops strong Factory Finance team.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • University degree in Finance, Maths or related areas
Work Experience:
  • 3-5 years proven expertise in controlling at FMCG manufacturing
  • Experience in supply/logistics controlling
  • Understanding of product costing
  • Experience in procurement / procurement controlling will be a plus
Technical skills
  • ERP user
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Ability to learn and use new software in a short time
  • Knowledge of other parts of Finance (Accounting, IFRS, Controls/Internal Audit, commercial controlling) – will be an advantage

  • Leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to comfortably present to senior management on a regular basis
